“The Rapture of the Church”
Throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, over 2,500 prophecies have been predicted and most of them have been fulfilled already. It is prophesied that God is preparing an eternal kingdom in heaven “New Jerusalem” for His children. That applies to anyone and everyone from any country, whether Jew or Gentile, who have accepted the Lord’s free offer of salvation during the 2000 years of the Grace or Church Age, in which we now live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God, Romans 8:14. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us, Romans 8: 16-18.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet with the Lord in the air: and so, shall we forever be with the Lord, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
And all that is required to become a child of God is to accept the Lord as your personal savior. That means to confess with your mouth that Christ died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and to believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead, Romans 10:9.
In this novel, we track the last few days of the two main characters whose destinies were sealed when they disappeared “raptured” in separate incidences outside J.F.K. Airport in New York.
The first incident involved Claus Gottfried Keyser, an arms dealer and antique business owner from Berlin in former East Germany. He was to meet fellow arms dealer, Demetrius Cavanaugh, to enact revenge for losses they suffered in an arms deal that went wrong in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Then there was Melissa Hamilton, a young African American trophy mistress from Elizabeth, New Jersey, who vanished with family members and the crew on a G-450 Gulfstream jet. She was recently rescued by Interpol, along with ten other women who were held captive and forced into prostitution at a compound in Lagos, Nigeria.
